Defining Genocide Down
A very interesting article on how Russia used the loaded term "genocide" as a propaganda tool in its ongoing conflict with Georgia last year (and since).
What I found most interesting was author Thomas P.M. Barnett's comment on his blog about how similar efforts might be used in the future by China and India when they deal with their own territorial and/or ethnic conflicts. Note his comment below,
"Take-away: now Russia, but expect similar from India and China eventually as well--their particular rules for protecting what they define as constituting their "national interest."
