I disagree with this article wholeheartedly. The non-proliferation regime is dead. Attempts at resurrection, no matter how well intentioned, are futile.
The deal with india cements a positive working relationship with one of the up and coming "Great Powers" to be. Its strategic implications are clear and benefits significant. Paying fealty to old treaties that are disregarded by many doesn't seem to make much sense.
