Karzai Threatens Sending Soldiers Into Pakistan
Afghan President Karzai is saying he will send troops across the Paksitani border if necessary in "hot pursuit." This is becoming an increasingly contentious situation. The new Pakistani government has not moved in the direction the US would like in terms of dealing with Taliban and believed al-Qaeda refuges in the tribal areas bordering Afghanistan.
Now Karzai is also upset enough to be willing to do something politically difficult and dangerous. As NATO and individual coutries look at their troop numbers in Afghanistan, this will persist in being a situation very worth montoring.
