5 Myths About the Neocons
From the Washington Post, this article is from the author of a new (and at least serious) book on the neoconservative movement. I am not sure I completely agree with all points, but at least it is somewhat more judicious than most of the "Evil, Straussian, Jewish Cabal" garbage that populates the fevered minds of the conspiracy theory enthusiast.
For the unitiated into the lore of neoconservatism take a look at this and this and this to get a sampling of what is out there. Better yet, just Google "Neoconservative."
By the way, here is a look at the "neoconservative" persuasion from the so-called "Godfather", Irving Kristol.
