Putin for President (No Not Really)
Yet another great piece from Spengler at Asia Times. It is definitely tongue in cheek and can't be taken too seriously, but it raises an interesting question. Namely, in our star obsessed society, are we so stuck on the rat race that is American Presidential politics that we lose sight of seeing what actually would make a truly effective statesman? Love him or hate him, Vladimir Putin has been effective for Russia, we can't forget that.
