Selling the US By the Dollar
Interesting article talking about Abu Dhabi 's purchase of 11% of America 's largest bank Citigroup in order to help ease the pain from the subprime fallout. I am not as pessimistic, yet, as this article says. That said, Americans will need to start saving more or the prospect of continual buy ins from foreign companies will be inevitable. This can be a good thing under certain circumstances, it can be bad thing in others. We need to keep good heads on our shoulders and discriminate legitimately between the two.
