Bill Richardson and a New Foreign Policy Realism
My pick for Hillary’s running mate puts some of his ideas on foreign policy on paper in the Harvard International Review. Nothing earth shattering, really standard foreign policy wonky, elite backed ideas. He talks of a “new realism” and even throws in “bipartisan consensus” and holds up George Kennan and Hans Morgenthau as exemplars of what we are to look for.
