Surpise- Heidi Samuel Outraises Columbus City Council Opponent
From the Disptach, Columbus Mayor Mike Coleman outraised his Republican challenger Bill Todd by a substantial margin. However, while still uphill, I think Mr. Todd has some great issues that the Mayor won't be able to duck. That race will remain very interesting and for Republicans hopeful.
The big surprise, however, is that one of our Republican City Council candidates has outraised their Democrat opponent! This is not a common ocurrence in Columbus anymore. Heidi raised $5,000 more than Priscilla Tyson. Not bad at all for a first time candidate running in a tough race. Maybe some GOP donors who have been sitting on the fence might want to take another look, I think this one is clearly competitive and worth an investment!
