Senator Stevens Under Investigation?
This is not good. Senator Ted Stevens of Alaska is being investigated by the FBI. He is currently the longest serving Republican Senator and is famous for his influence when he has served as the Appropriations Committee Chair. The GOP needs to get scandals behind them or the Democrat attack ads will write themselves. After all, we’re not too far removed from the Age of Abramoff, Ney, Foley, and Noe. One of our big hitters being in trouble will just keep the narrative alive. Hopefully nothing untoward will be found…
