Piece from Time Magazine rating each of the 9 Dems' performances during last night's YouTube, CNN debate.  As to my two cents, I'd say Hillary won by being meticulous and Presidential looking.  Obama was ok, but his gifts of soaring rhetoric seem to not translate too well into these debate performances.  His foreign policy comments about sitting down with rogue states was hasty and didn't seem to have the appropriate caution (Hillary was better at this too).

Edwards just seems too pure populist.  It'll play with union members, but he seems scary to anyone who wants to support business and he also comes off pretty fake when you think about his own background.  As for the others, Gravel actually seems angrier than Kucinich, Dodd can't step out of the others' shadows, Richardson was off all night, and Biden actually sounded ok except for the really dumb move of being so hostile to the 2nd Amendment crowd.
